A simpler way to repeat past orders without starting over 



Repeat orders are common in Shopify sales. A customer wants the same items again. A rep needs to reorder with only a small change. For teams handling frequent B2B orders, rebuilding every order from scratch takes extra time and increases the chance of mistakes. That is why CSS Sales Team is introducing Duplicate Order for the rep portal. The app is designed to help merchants track reps, commissions, orders and rep activity from one place. (Shopify App Store

With this feature, reps can duplicate an existing order and use it as the starting point for a new one. Instead of entering the same products, customer details, shipping method and notes again, they can copy the order, update what changed and place it faster. 

The feature will support duplication for paid unpaid and draft orders. When a rep click Duplicate, the system creates a new draft order with prefilled details from the original one. It then redirects the rep to the standard order creation flow, where everything stays editable. 

This matters because many sales workflows are not built around brand-new orders. They are built around reorders, routine purchases and slight variations of previous orders. A duplicate flow helps reps move faster while giving merchants a more reliable process for repeat buying. 

It also keeps flexibility in place. The duplicated order is not locked. Reps can still review quantities, change products, update notes and adjust the order before submitting it. That makes the feature useful for both simple repeat purchases and more complex B2B orders

There is also protection for edge cases. If a product from the original order is no longer available, the rep will see a warning instead of silently creating an incomplete order. That makes the workflow clearer and helps avoid confusion during order placement. 

This is a practical update, but it solves a real daily problem. By removing repeated manual work inside the rep portal, CSS Sales Team makes repeat ordering faster, cleaner and easier for modern Shopify sales teams.
